On August 8th, there is a cosmic alignment known as the Lions Gateway. That’s when Orion’s Belt aligns with the Great Pyramid of Giza and opens up a “profound and powerful source of spiritual light.” More specifically, a portal of manifestation occurs which is focused on love, prosperity, abundance, fertility. It is further described as a gateway of higher consciousness through the activation and awakening of our DNA.
August 8th is a day the veil thins between our world and the divine. It’s a time to appreciate where we are and who we are as individuals while providing an opportunity to tap into universal energy to access our true ambitions and aspirations!
“Allow yourself time for meditation to amplify your vibration. Engage in movement that taps into your inner strength. Repeat affirmations that speak to all that you are becoming. Express confidence in your words and posture to louden your magnetism. Write your wish lists more like order forms to support manifestation. Allow your intuitive sensing to help you tune into the power and the spirit of this day.” – the YogaJournal.com
Shifting Your Focus so Magic Can Enter Your Life
Ever wonder how some people seem to be in a better place financially, emotionally, or spiritually? What do they do different? There is an old saying, “What you think about you bring about.” That means if you focus on negative things around you, negative things come right back to you from the universe.
For example, it is best to avoid saying “Bad things happen in threes.” Why? Because it’s as if you are announcing to the universe that three bad things need to happen in a row to prove a point, and Voila! They do!
Analyze Yourself and Your Relationships
Do you believe in yourself and your dreams? Do your friends and family believe in you or are they unsupportive? While we cannot remove some of the people in our lives, we can minimize the impact they have on us.
Best-selling author Marc Chernoff (marcandangel.com) suggests considering the following factors when deciding if you are hanging out with people who are right for you or the “wrong crowd.” Warning signs to watch for and avoid:
- They say you don’t have what it takes.
- They don’t support who you are.
- They only respect you when you live their way.
- They create and thrive on negativity.
- They condone self-abuse.
- They make you feel unattractive.
- They aren’t there for you when you need them most.
“Don’t hang with angry people;
Don’t keep company with hotheads.
Bad temper is contagious –
Don’t get infected.” – Proverbs 22:24-25
Simplify Your Life to Manifest a Different Outcome
One of the best ways to position yourself for a better outcome is to remove toxic people from your world (where you can) and simplify your life. In her article, “12 Easy Ways to Make Life Simple.” Angel Chernoff suggests the following steps.
- Identify what’s most important to you.
- Eliminate as much as you possibly can of everything else.
- Learn to let GO of what wasn’t meant to be.
- Stop berating yourself for being a work in progress.
- Don’t wish your life away.
- Forget what everyone thinks and wants for you.
- Stop worrying and complaining.
- Start making moves.
- Focus on being productive not being busy.
- Look for the silver lining in every tough situation.
- Spend more time with the right people.
- Let things be less than perfect.
“You must be willing to let go of the life you planned for so you can enjoy the life that is waiting for you.”
Get Happy!
Loving yourself where you are right now is a great way to start making lasting changes. David Rae, author of “Be Happy Right Now,” offers a couple of ideas you can use to create a brighter outlook in advance of “Manifestation Day” on August 8th.
- Take a walk. 90 minutes a week will get you started.
- Write about a positive experience for 20 minutes.
- Carry out five random acts of kindness per week. (Spend money on others, open a door for someone, send a thank-you note, volunteer). Positive self-worth is a major key to a happy life.
- Unplug – from social media. Let yourself recharge.
- Find your flow. When you are absorbed in what you are doing you forget about everything else. Time flies when you are having fun.
- Two-minute meditation.
- Five gratitudes. Write five things you are grateful for on a daily basis. Repeats are OK.
Learn to Love Yourself so You Can Manifest from a Position of Power
Sometimes you may find yourself being self-critical (“How stupid of me! I can’t believe I did that.”) Not accepting a sincere compliment (talking yourself out of it) and self-criticism are other ways we make ourselves feel diminished. While it may seem to you that these actions are just a way to remain humble, it’s actually creating a negative impact on your psyche because you are tearing yourself down instead of building yourself up.
To get the ball rolling in the right direction, you need to speak gently to yourself from the heart rather than the head. The mantra I use to keep self-talk positive: Be Kind to Self. Another way is to put your hands over your heart and tell yourself, “I love you.”
Set the Stage by Making a List of Positive Characteristics
Years ago, when it felt like life was full of negative events, I took a moment to type a list of positive characteristics and placed the list in my wallet. Whenever I felt less than positive, I would pull out the list and recite it aloud. Fast forward to 2018, Kent Boxberger, a former teacher of manifestation techniques, suggested we do something similar using the words: I AM SO … to create life changes.
I AM So Beautiful!
I AM So Powerful!
I AM So Smart!
I AM So Full of Potential!
I AM So Healthy!
I AM So Sexy!
I AM So WEALTHY, Right Now!
I AM So ABUNDANT, Right Now!
I AM So Compassionate!
I AM So Needed and Wanted!
I AM My Past, Present and Future, COMPLETED BALANCED AND WHOLE, RIGHT NOW!
I AM FEELING BETTER, Right Now, than I EVER HAVE!
I AM So in LOVE, with Life Right Now!
I AM So in LOVE, with Who I AM, Right Now!
I AM So Optimistic about What’s Next. Right Now!
I AM So Grateful FOR Myself and What I Have. Right Now!
I AM So Thankful for EVERYTHING. Right Now!
I AM So Appreciative of EVERYTHING in my Life. Right Now!
I AM Operating and Feeling from MY HEART, Right Now! And it FEELS GOOD!
I AM So IN LOVE with myself, that I want the Whole World to Feel the LOVE. I am Feeling. Right Now!
I AM the LOVE of God, and God is the LOVE in Me!
Avoiding negative self-talk, creating a positive attributes list and changing your focus from negative to positive thoughts are potent tools to manifest change in your life! Don’t forget to Set the Date for Manifesting on August 8!
